ADCA Semester-Wise Syllabus
Semester 1: Core Productivity & Computing Basics
The first 6 months focus heavily on basic hardware, standard office software operations, and fundamental internet communication tools. [1, 2]
  • Computer Fundamentals: Core architecture, memory systems, input/output device operations, and basic troubleshooting. [1, 2]
  • Operating Systems (OS): Practical training using Windows 10/11, file organization, and basic system settings. [1, 2]
  • MS Office Suite (2024 / 365 edition):
    • MS Word: Formatting documentation, templates, and mail merge.
    • MS Excel: Advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard generation.
    • MS PowerPoint: Designing business layouts, slides, and animations. [1, 2, 3]
  • Internet & Web Basics: Managing emails, net-banking applications, and using cloud systems like Google Workspace. [1, 2]
  • Typing & Data Entry: Enhancing Hindi and English speed/accuracy metrics. [1]
Semester 2: Advanced Technical & Business Skills
The second half transitions from basic data operations to technical design, programming logic, and financial tools. [1]
  • Financial Accounting Software: Master-level training in Tally Prime (including GST computations, inventory, and ledger routing).
  • Graphic & Multimedia Design: Introduction to desktop publishing (DTP) workflows via Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw.
  • Web Design & Development: Scripting layouts using structural HTML5, CSS, and introductory JavaScript.
  • Database Management System (DBMS): Introduction to relational structures using MS Access or basic MySQL queries.
  • Programming Basics: Fundamental concepts of program logic via C or Python.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Safeguarding protocols, protecting user credentials, and recognizing phishing threats.

🎓 Eligibility & Course Metrics
  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Class 10 or 12 from an approved board. No stream boundaries restrict admissions.
